Benjamin,

Thanks for your input about "Sensory Design"... I agree that this book quickly becomes a constant reference...and certainly it avoids "vagueness"...very well said.

I second your recommendation and praise for Malnar and Vodvarka's "Sensory Design." It is a book that I picked up while preparing for my thesis and has been a constant reference ever since. Unlike similar book's, it is a culmination of various veins of research and does not rely heavily on the vagueness of Heidegger or Merleau-Ponty translations to illustrate its information.

In addition, I recommend that anyone who is familiar with this book should check out Malnar and Vodvarka's earlier text "The Interior Dimension" on your next trip to the library. Despite looking like a textbook from the early nineties (which it is), it is equally insightful and useful.
